Temporary Service Suspension
Due to circumstances beyond our control, our ATSC over the air broadcast is temporarily off the air.
The 49 year old elevator in our building was due to be replaced this winter starting on January 15th. The motor running the old elevator unfortunately overheated to the point of melting the motor windings and failed on January the 3rd. There is no replacement for the motor available due to the its age.
We are located at the top of the hill at Main and Gerrard Streets and broadcast from a small tower located on the rooftop of our building. The transmitter and other equipment are located in the elevator shaft area and the equipment rack is in the way of installing the new elevator.
We took the station off the air and removed the equipment on January 8th. We will continue running our streaming service with a reduced schedule. You can access this stream by downloading the TVants player from our website tobroadcast.com
We plan on being back on the air sometime in March. In the meantime we will do some much needed upgrades and repairs to our infrastructure.
