TVants Expired?

We have updated our download of TVants to version 1.0.0.59 Build 0836 Release date: December 28, 2009. This version will work past the year 2009 end expiry date of Build 0835. This year we have released a cleaned up English version with corrected spelling and better translations.

You can download TVants from SRTV in two flavours:

1. TVants customized to launch the Star Ray TV channel:Click Here!

2. TVants customized to launch of the SR Music radio station with special features so that it works with the http://music.tobroadcast.com website:Click Here!

Downloading, installing, and executing SRTV TVants immediately starts Star Ray TV or SR Music depending on your choice of flavour. You must have least Windows Media Player 7.1 installed for it to work. For more channels, go to the program folder "TO Broadcast" and click the TVants icon to open TVants. Press the "Search" button to view the list of available channels. The channel list changes frequently but you should see around 20 channels.

McAfee's SiteAdvisor gives Star Ray TV's TVants download a "Nuisance Score" of 0: http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/tobroadcast.com

This means our downloads are free of adware, spyware and other unwanted programs

We have been experimenting with a TVants Active X plug-in to embed Star Ray in a webpage. If you want to try out the plug-in, use this link.

So far the plug-in works only with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Firefox does not have an Active X add-on.

Sorry only a Windows version of TVants is available. TVants does run on Linux using "Wine." It is also possible to run TVants streams on VLC. Mac users, you are out of luck.
