Maybe time to move to a web based streaming platform?
TVants is pretty depreciated technology at this point. Development on it ceased years ago and outside of your site the only way to get access to the program is through sketchy third parties. Unless someone is specifically looking to seek Star Ray out, I can't imagine you're picking up many viewers through it anymore.
I don't know what your setup looks like, but would it be possible to maybe move streaming to a more current platform? Youtube, Livestream, Ustream, etc. would be good options. Most of them are supported on a variety of devices too, so Star Ray could be on TV in areas beyond the antenna's reach.

TVants is for people who seek Star Ray out and use our custom application to watch. The TVants software needs no further development because it works great! If you want to watch Star Ray on the Internet download our app from our site, otherwise don't bother.
We will always use our own broadcasting platform. I didn't start this station to become a corporate sellout.

It's usually the corporate entities that are adverse to change. I'm a firm believer that information should be free and accessible, so it was just a suggestion supporting that. It would've been neat to see Star Ray as part of a KODI list or something. But it's your channel, and if that's the way you feel about it, that's the way you feel about it.

You are advocating change for the sake of change. TVants is superior technology but you would rather be part of a herd of sheep. I would bet that you haven't even tried to use TVants to watch Star Ray.
Information on the Internet is not free, somebody has to pay for the infrastructure and bandwidth. Corporations running the Internet trade "free" access for spying, censorship, and control.
You are also missing some important points.
People watch TV with a television set using OTA, cable, or satellite signals. The Internet is only 6% of TV viewing hours. The Internet viewing experience is inferior to traditional television viewing technology.
Most OTA TV stations don't even bother with an Internet feed, it's not worth the effort. Why put a broadcast on the Internet when at most you pick up a handful of viewers while you have thousands even millions of viewers on the air and cable?

Apologies for reviving a dead topic, but I have a question.
How do you feel about IPTV stuff like Kodi for streaming TV channels? And if someone came to you asking for permission to stream your TV station onto one of those IPTV connection thingies on KODI, would you allow them to or not, or with conditions?
I'm just genuinely curious. TV Ants does work well for me for the most part on my computer though, I'm just asking in general.

I am not interested in using any Internet infrastructure that Star Ray doesn't own and control especially now with all the censorship and banning going on. It's a lot more difficult for the "Overlords" to ban and erase you from the Internet when you're using your own domains and servers.
Broadcasting a television station on the Internet is a joke anyhow. I would be interested in getting coverage on a North American FTA satellite.
As a practical matter we can't stop anyone from receiving the digital signal off the air, back hauling it, and rebroadcasting the station where-ever and how-ever. This "rebroadcasting" already has been happening for years.
